Pay Your Bills On Time

We all know how important it is to keep a positive credit history. But many of us may be neglecting one of the most basic ways of doing this; paying our bills on time each and every month.

A good step toward repairing bad credit is to begin paying all your bills on time. Even if you’re only paying the minimum amounts due, make sure it’s right on time. Just as late and missed payments have a negative effect on your credit score, regular on-time payments have a large positive effect.

If you find it hard to make those regular payments, look into having the bills automatically deducted from your checking account at the same time every month. Or at the very least, set reminders on your computer for a week before each bill is due.
